Orbits puts the notion of centrality into question. All the bodies move out of harmony with their conflicting agendas and circumscribed trajectories. And while these moving bodies maintain a (false) pretense of individualism, they do rebound off and reflect on one another, creating moments that make us wonder… is there really a connection? Amidst this contemporary detachment, we’re reminded of our most essential roots and what it really means to be alive, human, and competing for survival. Whether these musicians are really orbiting something or simply moving for the sake of moving remains unanswered.
